Vasilis Tountopoulos is an Economist, a Strategic Development and Innovation Consultant, and a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the Peloponnese, specializing in business analytics. He has extensive experience in financial management, negotiations, and business restructuring.

He is the Founder and CEO of MPDO, a strategic consulting and business support firm, as well as the Founder and CEO of KOTINOS TALES, an organization specializing in sports and professional tourism. He has previously served as Regional Director of Medium Business Restructuring and Director of Banking Centers for Commercial Banking at major financial institutions, including Piraeus Bank, Bank of Cyprus, and Alpha Bank.

Throughout his career, he has successfully managed significant development projects, business consulting, and corporate restructuring initiatives. He has participated as a mentor in international and national entrepreneurship and governance programs and is a pro-bono Advisory Board member of SOCIACT NGO. Additionally, he led the creation of OLYMPASSMARK, a self-assessment tool for the organizational structure of sports organizations, developed alongside an experienced team of collaborators.
